Reading this site

We use no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. Reading these pages puts nothing on your device and tells us nothing about you.

Other companies your browser contacts

The typefaces come from Google Fonts, so your browser asks fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com for them and Google sees that request. The Beef page shows a menu served by wilsonvalley.com. The Cattle page loads listings and photographs from omni.evansranch.net, which is our own server.

The contact form

If you send us a message we receive your name, email address, telephone number, the kind of enquiry and what you wrote. The form also records the internet address you sent it from and your browser's description of itself; those two are kept so we can tell real messages from automated ones.

Your message is emailed to us and the same details are kept in a log on the web host. We use them to answer you and for nothing else.

Text message alerts

We send automated operational text alerts to our own owner and employees. A number reaches that list only when the person gives it to us for that purpose; there is no sign-up for it on this website and we never add a number from any other source. The messages report ranch conditions - a scale ticket left open, a grain bin nearing capacity, a commodity price move, a feed commodity at its reorder point.

Reply STOP to any of them to be removed, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers, and mobile opt-in information is never shared with anyone for marketing purposes.

What we never do

We do not sell personal information. We do not give it to anyone for their own marketing. We hand it to others only where the law requires it.

Asking us to remove something

Use the Contact page on this site, or write to the postal address at the foot of this page, and we will remove what we hold about you.

Changes

If this policy changes we replace this page and change the date at the top of it.
